Unlike all standalone AVL systems, Edulog’s solution offers real time comparative analysis of actual vs. planned data, allowing clients to manage by exception and focus on buses exhibiting non-planned behavior (early/late buses, skipped bus stops, unscheduled bus stops, etc.) Similarly, student tracking features provide more than simple recording of which students get on/off the bus at a given stop – the data is compared to which students are actually assigned to a given bus stop. Student and Transportation data can also be displayed via MDT to the bus driver, along with driver directions, etc.
